Mission

OWE NOTHING provides monthly grants to assist individuals with paying off their student loan debt. Since the United States of America is currently burdened with over 1.6 trillion dollars of student loan debt, we are seeking to assist in helping individuals to decrease this deficit one monthly grant at a time. We are starting with $500 monthly commitments and are hoping to increase that commitment to multiple grants given per month and/or increase our giving to eliminating a full loan amount greater than $1000 monthly by December 2020.

Goals

Our goal is to not just eliminate all student loan debt by our giving efforts but to provide awareness to each applicant of the importance of their personal financial situation. We are looking to provide grants to individuals who are currently working on improving their debt management and have the goal of complete debt elimination. This consideration would include an individual currently being aware of all of their current debt, participating in monthly budgets, and having a documented history of decreasing their debt load in the past year.
